Dear KAJA Family,

It is with a heavy heart that I try to put together the words of how to express my feelings of the events of recent weeks.I will begin by trying to briefly bring you up to speed in order to clarify why I must leave my position.

Since before I moved to San Antonio I have struggled with some health issues, but did not have the opportunity for several reasons to deal with them. Once I felt established here and found wonderful doctors, I was put through a number of tests. I know this will come as a shock to some of you, but my doc said I have a “perfect” brain.(Whatever right?)Anyway, they did find a problem with my brain waves and realized that I have been struggling with epilepsy for some time. That being said, it has made it impossible to continue my career here in San Antonio.

Okay, now for the stuff I want you to know and remember. I want to thank YOU from the bottom of my heart for all the pronunciation correction, grammar checks, fashion police watches, and then some. You folks have filled my life with FUN! You have entertained me... probably more then I you…for the love!! I thank you for saying hello to me on the streets and local events and laughing at my silly ways. I thank you for accepting my daughter into your school and teaching her your way of “sir” and “ma’m” we are both better people for it.

This is to you Mr. Randy Carroll. They say in the next life we will be able to tell people just how we feel with a look. I hope to see you there. I came here very afraid, lonely and unsure. You and your family have shown me what true Christianity is.It is and has been such an honor to have shared a brief part of this journey we call life with you. I can say that not doing radio anymore is easier, knowing I have worked with the highest caliber of partner. You were my partner. My friend. My Brother….and I will miss you the most Cowboy.

PEACE Y’ALL! GOD BLESS TEXAS!!!
