They tried to make it work, but it looks like Jason Aldean and Jessica Ussery have reached their breaking point as a couple. Seven months after the married father of two was photographed making out with American Idol alum Brittany Kerr, the country crooner and his wife have separated, a source tells Us Weekly exclusively.
According to the insider, the couple's split actually happened back in January. "There were obvious problems before the bar kiss, but he finally left earlier this year," the source tells Us, pointing out that Ussery didn't attend the ACM Awards with Aldean in April.
A rep for Aldean tells Us that the couple are indeed going through a rough spot. "I can confirm that Jason and his wife are having problems, but there is nothing more to share at this time," the rep says. "It's a private family matter, and we hope everyone will respect that he would like to keep it that way."
Billy Currington has been indicted for allegedly chasing down an elderly man in his boat and threatening to "f*** him up" and kill him.
It went down on Tax Day in broad daylight on the Back River ... a resort area in Georgia. According to the police report, 70-year-old tour boat captain Charles Ferrelle was carrying two fares past Currington's crib when the singer started yelling from his dock ... but the captain couldn't make out what he was saying and continued on.
On the return trip, Currington jumped in his boat -- with a camera -- followed them to a public dock and allegedly began verbally abusing and threatening Ferrelle's life.
Turns out Currington was upset that Ferrelle's steered too close to his docks ... one witness told cops that the wake almost knocked an elderly man into the water.
Still, a grand jury found enough evidence to hit the country star with charges of making terroristic threats and abuse of an elder person ... this according to documents filed today.
Currington had a No.1 country hit with "Pretty Good at Drinkin' Beer" in 2010 and was nominated for a Grammy that year. We reached out to his reps ... no comment yet.

WASHINGTON — AP: Surviving Boston bomb suspect identified as Dzhokhar A. Tsarnaev, 19, of Cambridge, Mass. SOURCE
Just before 3 p.m. on April 15, Bauman was waiting among the crowd for his
girlfriend to cross the finish line at the Boston Marathon. A man wearing a cap,
sunglasses and a black jacket over a hooded sweatshirt looked at Jeff, 27, and
dropped a bag at his feet, his brother, Chris Bauman, said in an interview.
Two and a half minutes later, the bag exploded, tearing Jeff’s legs apart. A
picture of him in a wheelchair, bloodied and ashen, was broadcast around the
world as he was rushed to Boston Medical Center. He lost both legs below the
“He woke up under so much drugs, asked for a paper and pen and wrote, ‘bag,
saw the guy, looked right at me,’” Chris Bauman said yesterday in an interview.
Those words may help crack the mystery of who perpetrated one of the highest-profile acts of terror in the U.S. since the 2001 assault on New York City and the Washington
area, one that killed three people and wounded scores.
While still in intensive care, Jeff Bauman gave the FBI a description of the
man he saw, his brother said. Bauman’s information helped investigators narrow
down whom to look for in hours of video of the attack, he said.
43-year-oldJoe Berti of Austin, Texas has ZERO chance of winning the lottery . . . because he just used up a LIFETIME'S worth of luck this week.
On Monday, he ran the Boston Marathon for a charity that helps kids with rare disorders. And he finished THIRTY SECONDS before the first bomb exploded. The bomb missed him, but his wife was hit by a little shrapnel, although she wasn't hurt.
Then, he went back home and back to work. And as he was driving home from a meeting on Wednesday, he drove RIGHT past that FERTILIZER PLANT in Texas, right after it EXPLODED.
That's right . . . this guy just missed the explosions in Boston AND Texas.
Joe says, quote, "It's a miracle. People keep saying, 'Don't you feel unlucky?' and I was actually the opposite, saying not only do I not feel unlucky, but I feel blessed that my wife could be 10 yards from the explosion and not have a scratch."
