The Internet is obsessed with cats and stupid self-portraits . . . so it's about time someone combined them. The latest stupid online photo trend is called CAT BEARDING.
To take one, hold your cat up while he's looking straight up, and so his face is covering the bottom of YOUR face. It makes it look like the cat's mouth is your mouth . . . and the rest of the cat is your beard.
We've seen doctor shows based in Chicago, Seattle, Boston, and L.A.
Now San Antonio is going to have it's opportunity to shine on the small screen when NBC premiers 'Night Shift,' which takes place at 'San Antonio Memorial Hospital.'
The show follows ex Army doctors working overnights at a San Antonio hospital. It is unclear whether any of the scenes will be shot in San Antonio.
Dr. Ian Thompson of the U.T. Health Science Center, who is a retired Army Colonel and is the former head of surgery at Brooke Army Medical Center, says you won't see many plots about 'physician error' when you're talking about Army, or ex-Army docs.
"Some of the most committed, some of the best trained doctors on the planet are military physicians," Dr. Thompson said. "They care, they're smart."
NBC's material for "Night Shift' indicates that it will be a doctor show along the lines of "M*A*S*H," which followed wise cracking physicians at a forward surgical hospital during the Korean War.
"In 'Night Shift,' a motley crew of rogue ex-Army surgeons bring human and rock and roll energy to the night shift at a chaotic trauma center in San Antonio.
"At San Antonio Memorial, those who work the 7pm - 7am shift are a special breed. Welcome to the night shift, where every day is a fight between the heroic efforts of saving lives and the hard truths of running a hospital. After a grueling tour of duty in Afghanistan, adrenaline junkie TC Callahan became accustomed to combat, but he could have never guessed that his toughest battles would be fought right here at home. TC and his irreverent team of late night docs know how to let off steam with the casual prank or two, but when lives are at stake, they are all business," NBC says.
"Unfortunately, the night shift is now under new management, and boss Michael Ragosa is more interested in cutting costs than helping people. But TC has never met a rule he couldn't break, or a person he won't stand up to. And it's clear that not even Jordan, TC's ex-girlfriend and now Ragosa's second in charge, has a chance at keeping him in line. If Ragosa wants a war... he'll get one."
The show is billed as a 'one hour drama.'
Thompson says ex Army doctors will be first rate doctors.
"Army medicine is some of the best medicine practiced on the planet," he said.
Kip Moore is an inked man!
With two number-one hits under his belt, Kip treated himself with a visit to a tattoo artist in Nashville to get his first piece on his right bicep. The ink is “Psalm 40” -- a Bible verse that motivated Kip to stay in Tennessee at a time when he'd almost given up on music and moved back home to Georgia.
"The Voice" has been renewed for another season but is reportedly losing one
of its coaches.
After just one season on the popular show, Latin singer Shakira has decided
not to come back for another season. Instead, original coach Christina Aguilera
is expected to return with a paycheck between $12.5 to $17 million for the
Blake Shelton and Adam Levine have both said they don't plan on coaching
forever, but so far it's not clear if they will be returning or not. Cee Lo
Green just had his own reality show picked up by TBS but is still expected to
return to "The Voice" for the new season according to one NBC exec.
"We are not there yet, but working toward it," said the executive.
That leaves new coach Usher. So far no one is suggesting whether he will be
back or will also be leaving.
The current season of "The Voice" will end June 18.
