New Country CD's on the Way

Get ready for lots, I mean lots of new CD's on the way between now and Christmas.
Here is a list of the upcoming releases:
Jessica Simpson's debut country CD "Do You Know" comes out September 9th, and you can also look for Jessica to enter the fragrance market with "Fancy"
Darius Rucker's first country CD "Learn To Live" also comes out September 9th.
Faith Hill's first Christmas Cd "Joy To The World" is out September 30th.
Look for George Strait's 3rd Christmas CD "Classic Christmas" out October 7th.
Tim McGraw is not only releasing a new CD "Greatest Hits 3" on October 7th, but he is also releasing his first book "My Little Girl" on October 21st.
Kenny Chesney is releasing 2 CD's in October.....a limited edition Deluxe Fan Pack of "Lucky Old Sun" comes out October 7th and a "regular" version of the Cd comes out on October 14th.
Also look for Rascal Flatts "Greatest Hits Volume One" on October 28th and a new studio Cd from Toby Keith called "That Don't Make Me A Bad Guy" on October 28th too.
Brad Paisley's CD "Play" featuring Keith Urban, Vince Gill, and BB King comes out November 4th and Taylor Swift's long awaited 2nd CD "Fearless" will be out November 11th. There will be a limited edition CD box set that will include a T-shirt, bracelet and other exclusive goodies.
It's going to be a great Fall for Country Music!

Here we go.....a daily blog of the latest news, rumors and gossip out of Nashville, or as I like to refer to it........NashVegas.
Want to smell like Tim McGraw? Try the new fragrance called simple "McGraw" and no, it does not come in a flip top can. Hey, it must work. Look who he is married to. The last time Nashville tried this was a perfume made out of Sammy Kershaw's sweat. That didn't last very long, thank goodness.
In other NashVegas news, everyone is commenting on Pat Green getting hit between the eyes with a can of beer. I would start putting 'Chicken Wire in front of the stage" in the concert rider. Sugarland gets sued!

ATLANTA - A founder of the country band Sugarland is suing the two current members of the popular group for $1.5 million. According to a lawsuit filed late last month in U.S. District Court in Atlanta, Kristen Hall was to get a cut of the group's profits even after she left in 2005 for a solo career. The lawsuit says Hall, who founded the band in 2002, has an agreement with Jennifer Nettles and Kristian Bush to equally share profits and losses. Hall says in the lawsuit that she has been excluded from the group's profits since she left. Sugarland's publicist referred calls to the band's attorney, Gary Gilbert, who was unavailable for comment. The band's album, "Love on the Inside," released last month, is No. 1 on Billboard music chart.

SUGARLAND's JENNIFER NETTLES has found a new love connection. Nashville ABC-TV affiliate WKRN reports that Jennifer has been dating KENNY CHESNEY's guitar player CLAYTON MITCHELL for the past nine months. Clayton also co-wrote a tune on Sugarland's upcoming album, Love on the Inside, due in stores July 22nd.
 And this little love connection has been going on for more than 9 months.
Maybe she will show up at the Houston show. What was that.....a shark?

 May 26, 2008 A telescopic camera in orbit around Mars caught a view of NASA's Phoenix Mars Lander suspended from its parachute during the lander's successful arrival at Mars Sunday evening, May 25.desending to Mars.
